Maybe it is that the indented results are now on 40% of the outcomes? Google is opening the page with 3 advertisements, then a block of recommended famous people associated to the search based on Wikipedia, then regional results, then images, one organic result, youtube videos, then another block of 4 advertisements on page one! The entire thing was a jumbled confused mess and I can see how advertisers will get little to no real advantage with so numerous ads on the page either.My USA traffic continues way down … beginning at -66% today and my house page is -35% and main landing pages are down -35% to -60% today.

The chatter didnt really match the spikes. Many are asking me if there was a Google search upgrade? I am note sure, I believe the tools might have been activated by some UI changes.Maybe it was set off by the new large, button on leading understanding panel design that seemed to present today. Maybe it involves the new constant scrolling on mobile? Possibly it is that the indented outcomes are now on 40% of the results? I dont know for sure however the chatter is extremely limited in terms of SEOs complaining about ranking changes.The WebmasterWorld has limited chatter beginning around October 12th however that may be from responding to the weekend update. It has eliminated off all my crucial searches like a cancer.
