I chose Apples “Think Different” advertisement due to the fact that it shows the value of thinking outside the box. The people featured in this ad were able to push boundaries and challenge social norms, which made the world a much better place. Apple makes every effort to push borders in technology and this advertisement is a prime example of that.

Failure from Nike

Being the least athletic individual I understand, its rather shocking that a person of my favorite advertisements is about sports and stars a professional athlete. In my life I have experienced a series of difficult falls; both literally and metaphorically. Thats not whats important. What is very important is being resistant, standing after I fall, and discovering from my failures. When hearing Nikes “Just Do It” slogan and see the swoosh logo, it makes me think about this spot and the value of being a go-getter without any excuses. I enjoy this ad since it empowers individuals to do just that– never give up. Failure is the very best teacher and motivator, and if one of the worlds greatest basketball gamers has actually failed thousands of times, I know I will be alright.
